Day 5 – Dobbiaco to Lake Bled

Debbie: We hit Slovenia this afternoon and set up camp next to Lake Bled. It’s the most turquoise lake you have ever seen! We managed to walk half the way around it before ducking into a pub for an ice cold beer as temperatures have hit 30 degrees! After living in England we have forgotten how to cope in the heat so we hope that the hot weather now helps us cope in the desert in a few weeks time. The campsite is full of Europeans who have scorched their skin in the sun and are kitted out to the max in their camper vans. I’m glad we are here just out of peak season as I reckon that this is not a cool place to come to in season. Its a lovely evening so going to have some dinner and plan our next stop which will be in Croatia.
